Unhappy Power Door Locks have a mind of their own.

I have a 2004 Durango and today the door locks have started to lock and unlock themsleves repeatedly while sitting in the driveway or driving down the road. I took the battery out of the remote and this did not stop the problem. There seems to be a ghost in the machine. It doesnt seem to matter if the key is in the ignition or not. Anyone have any ideas?

LOL. Ghost in the machine. That was the name of my first forum post EVER related to a Durango. Same problem. However, my D is a Gen1. Here is the situation and the fix. This is the first time I have heard of the issue on a Gen2 so I can only assume the same. If it was a Gen1... I would be 100% sure.

Smile Ghost in the mahine

I'm pretty sure that water had gotten down in the door. I had tinted the windows a couple of days before the problem. The day after the problem appeared it was gone and has not retunred. I think water had gotten down in the door locks and some high humidity trigered the problem.
