Default Rogue airbag deployment

I was driving in downtown Pittsburgh with three clients, and BOOM all, I repeat ALL my side curtain airbags went off for no reason at all!

The dealer towed it and Chrysler promised to make it right, but all they did was repair the airbags..

Then the customer service rep stopped returning my calls.

I'm truly not comfortable driving this vehicle now.

What do you guys think?

It's an 07 limited hemi with 80k on it.

WOW thats a lot of miles for only a 2007.

As much as I read up on Dodge and Durangos specifically on a daily basis, yours is the first time I have ever heard of such a thing anywhere. It had to have been a fluke at the sensor. Interesting. Glad you didn't crash when they blew! I bet it scared the crap put of you.

Ya I use the truck for sales and my territory is a three hour ring around Pittsburgh. Alright, thank you for your input guys. Ya scared the **** out of me and my three women clients. Sounded like a shotgun. I just can't help to think what might have happened if it had been the front airbags or if I had been on the highway. Is it just one sensor for all the airbags?

Usually there is a frontal sensor for the airbags. Some European autos... and those that cost a lot more on the food chain... have more than that. Not sure personally how many the Gen2 has or where they are.
