Default tranny wierdness

nah - this isnt some lost episode of COPS

Looked around onthe forum yesterday and didnt see anything quite close enough to this (least I dont think)

Ive had an 07 durango for about a year now - bought used - roughly 40k miles on it

Have always had the common issues with this trans (slow sluggish shifts, etc) but recently seems to have a longer hestitation with acceleration and moving through the gears - if i am in drive and rolling at an idle and lightly accelerate on an incline it suddenly surges forward unexpectedly - almost like maybe the TC is low on fluid or something - but no signs of any leaks anywher

anybody have same problem or know solution?
thanks much!

Do a transmission service and fluid/filter change. It could also bo needing adjustment.

thanks for the reply Hydrashocker

Its the 4.7L with the 545rfe - got just under 40k on the odo - you think it sounds like a TC issue?
