Default Looking to up grading to new Wheels

I looking to put new wheels and tires on a 2008 SLT (2WD) and wondering if anyone has a recommendation? I am considering either a 22 X 10 rim 305/35 profile or a 20 X 9.5 rim 295/55 profile.

Does anyone know if a 22 wheel will rub?

I am also worried about a rough ride with a 35 profile tires.

Anyone have pictures they would like to share?

The properly sized 22 would be fine.

Any tire with no side wall that looks like a rubber band will have a crappy-*** ride.

Go with a really nice set of 20s and a great set of rubber instead. You will be happier with the results.

the 22's will rub on the outside top of your front wheel well and it might rub on the inside of the back wheel well when you take hard turns. Depends on your offset. If you get 20's it might still rub but it should be less. +1 on getting the 20's, I had some 305/45 22's and they rode hard and you could feel the extra weight with them too. Didn't like it all. Much happier with the 18's with 285 nittos

Mine came stock with 20's and I never heard them rub while cornering. I would stick with the 20's and remember to change them out in the winter if you live in the north or on a coastline. Also, keep one set of your factory lugnuts for the spare as the aftermarket ones may not fit if you gat a flat,

+1

20s are a factory size. No rubbing with 20s on a Gen2
