Wont start needs help

Default Wont start needs help

Hey guys I have a 2005 durango Hemi. Any way I changed the battery today and after I did the alarm trigered and now it wont start. The little booklet dont say or have anyhting in there about the removal of batteries. Any help on this would be great.

lock and unlock the doors with your remote. Should reset/fix it.

Thanks but thats the problem after I changed the battery the remotes dont work any more and I have tryed about 20 times now the reprograming of the key and that did not fix it either

Nice no way to reset or disable the alarm. No one here has any ideas and the dealer just says sure we can fix it bring it in. On a ford all you have to do is change the battery I guess thats not the case on a dodge.

For Sale 2005 duragno 45k miles SLT Hemi (last dodge I will own)

Is the alarm factory installed or aftermarket. I would check the maual if it was aftermarket,

Its all factory. The thing that kills me the most is my keyless entery wont even work. The alarm never sounded after i replaced the battery.

Pull the Neg battery terminal. Put the key in and push and hold it in the "start" position for 15 seconds. Re hook the battery and start, don't press the throttle. Run 15 seconds, turn off. Start again and have fun. This is a reset.


The only other thing it could be is you arched the battery and burned the CTM which is a dealer item. Check all fuses.

Thanks for the info but still did not work. Keys still dont work and the alarm light is still on. Monday I will just take it in and pay some one to fix it.
