Default 06 Durango Shocks suggestions?

I have a 2006 Durango limited 4.7, and am replacing the shocks. OEM SUCK!

Pretty much all road driving, not more than one "semi off road" venture a year.

Any personal recommendations? I REALLY need your input as there are tons out there.

Thanks.

I would go with Bilstein shocks as I have them for my Durango. I replaced my wifes shocks with KYB which seem to be a good shock for a good price,

I run bils here too.

If they are good enough for factory equip on the V-10 Viper powered Ram and many high performance auto makers, they are good enough for your Durango.

I agree about the factory shocks, SUCKS!!! I only had my D for 5 months and the shocks were going bad. I did write the manufacture to express myself (humor) about putting on average shock on this suv. They came back with the corporate mumbo jumbo then Apologize that I felt that way.

In the market for new shocks as well. What should i expect to pay to have a shop do this? I don't have the slightest idea on this.
Thanks!

I would think $300-$500. Maybe more. It depends on the type Of shocks and cost. And the shop's labor charge. I paid for the shocks $250 and installed them myself labor free. Shocks warehouse where I purchase mind.

Bilstein are nice, I personally have went with monroe reflex not a bad shock.. I mostly use it on-road but the occasional trail ride it's still good.. But next tie I think I'll try out the Bilstein's

i also went with the monroe reflex ones as i mentioned in a previous thread; it was a time issue i needed them now and the bilsteins were special order. have had them on for probably 4 months now, they are fine but i find them a little soft, i will also be going with bilsteins next time around.
