Does anyone have a problem with overflow during refueling? On my '05 if I don't stand there and babysit the nozzle...by the time it kicks off there is so much gas coming back up the filler neck it damn near pukes a half gallon down the side of the truck and onto the ground. This happens at every station I hit, since new. This is something that drives me insane...used to have an old Omni that did the same thing.

 

I've had my 04 since Jan 04 and have had no problems ever.
Mine shuts off, I pull the hose out, let it breathe a bit and then
put in one last 1/2 gallon or so.

 

call your dealer, we just recieved a recall notice for ours due to a malfunctioning check valve in the fuel tank filler tube.

 

Seems that Newark had a bad lot of tanks and filler vents for about a 3 week period. Got the recall, got it replaced...issue resolved.

 

Mine had puked on me more than once. However, I haven't received a recall notice...............yet
