2006 Durango Lift kit
I am buying an 06 Durango awd and was wondering if there are any lift kits advalible? I have not been able to find any. Also would a Dakota lift work or are the suspensions totally different?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks man, and yes stock rims just painted.
1- lube the key bolts (maybe the day prior to the torsion twist)
2- take a tape measure somewhere to front of the vehicle and measure from the ground to your reference point on the vehicle. I went center of the front wheel well ground to top fender lip. This is to make sure if you do loose count you can refer to this, 1 full turn is roughly 1/4"
3- Jack the front end up
4- 20-21mm socket (it's one of the two)
5- count each full turn 5-6 (your choice)
6- lower the D back to the ground
7- check your reference point on both sides to make sure they are the same, if they are not adjust accordingly.
8- If they are pretty much bang on then stand back and admire the new D.
I would then consider some 285/70 Tires, they are just shy of 33's. If you are like me and mainly drive pavement light snow and light mud than i would DEFINITELY go with the BFG All Terrains. But it comes down to personal taste, I hope this made sense and if anyone else has something to add feel free.
Post pics if you go through with it, i like pics!

You forgot to mention on that lift when you increase the tire size you need to recal the speedo for accuracy. If not then 2 issues: 1. You risk tickets. 2. Your odometer is off and you kill the value of the truck for resale/trade-in
