Default Limited Slip Differential Question.

I have a 2008 2WD Durango with an open differential. I am looking to upgrade to a limited slip or possible an ARB Locker. Has any one made this upgrade?

It will help out in the snow (California.....northern?), but other than that what is your need for the LSD?

Currently in LA, but looking to move to Oregon. I agree with you, In LA no need for a limited slip, but we do use the Durango for ski trips and light off roading. For the snow I would like to avoid putting on chains especially with new 22” on the way. Any advice?
