Default Starting problems on 2004 Durango Limited

Help! Was driving fine yesterday, but today it will not even "click", like if it was a flat battery! The remote works to open/lock the doors, but the lights don't flash and the horn doesn't sound. Interior/panel lights all work fine, but the headlights/fog lights don't come on at all. There just seems to be no juice at all getting to the ignition/starter system and I even tried jump starting it, but no luck. I also checked the blade fuses and can't find any burned out.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be, without me having to pay through the nose for a mechanic to come out, tow it and fix it?

THere was a recall on the instrument cluster that can cause FIRES. Here is a thread in the second generation Durango section (you posted in the general forum):

Not sure if this is your problem, but I would get the recall looked over. www.dodge.com has a section for recalls by VIN under the 'for owners' tab in the top right corner,
