2007 Durango - Idle Issue
2007 SLT 4.7 Flex. Seems to idle around low 500 and will stall when I turn the steering wheel all the way to the stop limit (left or right). Is there anyway to up the idle to 600 or 700 because it will not stall when I hold the gas pedal around that range (600-700) and turn the wheel.

Your throttle body may need cleaned or the EGR valve may need replaced. A tune-up should replace the sparkplugs and do the above, too. I changed my plugs at 25.000 miles and got a tune-up at that time,

We just bought the Durango and are loving it. There is 69000 miles on the vehicle. I'm an old school guy when it comes to engines (carbs, etc). What do you suggest as a tuneup (it already has a K&N filter on it, but thats all...)? Is SeaFoam OK for a 4.7 FLEX engine? In your suggestion, what are the best plugs to use for a 4.7 FLEX? What is the best way to clean the throttle body and where is the EGR valve located? Thank you very much for your wisdom! It is greatly appreciated!
I never used seafoam in the throttle body only in the gas tank. It should clean your throttle body and it will smoke alot so do it outside. I would use Champion cooper or iridium as there are threads on this site about the platinums not working well in the 4.7L. Here is a link for the EGR valve in the 4.7L

Seafoam will clean the TB. I just never used it for that purpose as I used it in the gas to clean the injectors. There are some videos of guys using it and it smokes like hell, but it cleans very well. You may want to use the search function in the menu (upper black bar) and type in 'seafoam',
