Need Help Can't get rear calipers off!? 2007 Durango
Ok I have changed disc brakes in other various cars in my lifetime, but I am having a time with these. I loosened the two bolts on the back of what I thought was the caliper as there are not other bolts near where it should be. They used a 10 or 11mm socket. It looks like the caliper comes loose a little, but I can't get it off the rotor, and when I pull it looks like the visible side pad is staying on the rotor while the caliper or possibly the holder is sliding off. It looks as if there is some type of bracket the caliper is in, that I possibly need to remove also otherwise I won't be able to get the rotor off possibly later? I don't know? I had read somewhere that this might be the pad holders I am taking off, but I have never heard of caliper holders or extra bolts holding pads in besides the clips.
The possible thing I called a bracket above uses the same socket as the lug nuts 7/8". Am I suppose to take those off also to get the whole thing off the rotor, or can the rotor come off without taking that piece off? These 7/8" bolts are on there tight. I couldn't get them off so far, and I am going to try a torque wrench today if you all think those are supposed to be taken off also. Also how in the heck do I get what I think is the caliper off the rotor and that bracket piece once I take those small bolts out (10-11mm socket ones) as it is really not moving much after wiggling a little. It is almost like something else is holding it on the rotor or bracket.
Trying to get this done today, as I have taken a couple of days messing around with it and today is do or die, and I really don't want to have to take somewhere and spend more money then I need to.
I have never encountered this much difficulty freaking replacing brakes and rotors, and I am starting to get extremely frustrated.

My problem now is I can't get the old rotors off at all. They should just slide off, but i am pretty confident that there is a lot of rust holding it to the axle. I tried tapping all the sides with a hammer and that didn't help. Any suggestions?
Update: I got the rotors off. I realized that the emergency brakes use the inside of the rotor, so I disengaged the emergency brake that I had on, and they came off great. Duh!
Now my problem is OReilly employee decided to give me the front rotors instead of the back rotors even though I specifically asked for the back ones! I got to wait for my wife to get home to exchange and finish, but it wasn't so bad after I was familiar with the finer aspects of the Durango versus other cars.
