Default If you can't turn key-how can you remove lock cylinder?

Hi, have tried three keys and every combinations of jiggling, bumping key, rocking steering wheel, etc you name it-nothing is working! what has been engineered into these things that interface or interlock and what can be done to get this lock cyl.out if it can't be turned to the run position??? Thanks in advance. 2006 Durango

The neutral park switch may be defective. Try to disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and see if this resets the system,

FF, no it is not. I'm starting to believe that the steering wheel lock mechanism is stuck.

Might have to rebuild the ignition or a locksmith may be able to help:
