Default 2005 Dodge Durango wont start?? WTF

I was went to dinner with my wife and on the way back we decided to stop by the grocery store. When I came back out and tried to crank up my 05 Durango it would crank but not start. At one point it started for like 2 seconds and shut back off. I need some help to figure out what could be wrong... I was thinking that it maybe not getting any "SPARK" OR "FUEL". Any help will be appreciated...

Turn the key to the on position (just before 'start' position) and listen for the fuel pump to turn on. The pump will 'whine' for about two seconds. It is a little had to hear it unless it is very quiet in the garage and cabin (or you could have someone do it while you are outside of the vehicle),

OK guys, this is what I tried this morning when I got home... Put a brand new battery in and it still wouldn't start. I got spark from the spark plugs so those are good and I turned the key on to the "ON" position and I heard the fuel pump come on so that's also good. Can anyone think of anything else that I might be overlooking?

Autozone can pull codes with a scanner for free, if you can get the car there. You can do the 'key dance' to show the codes on the odometer,

Blazer;

When you are trying to start it and cranking the motor, does your tach needle move at all?? If not, could be either a crank or cam shaft position sensor.

Do this:

Disconnect batter negative cable, then depress brake pedal for a minute.
Then reconnect and see if she will fire up.

If you have fuel, spark, and compression its gotta do something.

Let us know how this turns out.
