Default LT vs P tires

I was looking at these

DISCOVERER ATR P-METRIC

265/65R17 DISCOVR ATR 112T OWL

but then I noticed that they are P not LT?

Thoughts. I use the Durango as a tow rig, towing my RV that is like 5500 pounds.

Thoughts?

Earl

I would go with LT (light truck) if you are towing due to the greater number of plies compared to the P (passenger) tires,

Then which LT tire do you like. 5% towing, 5% snow, 90% city/freeway.
A good mixed tire. I do not need an offroad mud running king.
