Default 2005 Durango Running Boards

Where would you guys buy them? Yankee customs are asking about $500 including install for the one that would fit my 2005.

But it seems that they are not wide enough. I'm looking for something like the factory one but the dealership told me they dont sell them for the 2005's anymore.

Mopar sells them. I have a pair for sale that were on my 2007, but I am not sure if they will fit the 2005,

You can usually find the OEM molded boards on ebay. I found matching whites brand new in the box for under $300 shipped.

i took off my 2005 factory running boards today. ill sell them to u for 200. i dont like them at all. im too tall to use them effectively and end up getting mud on my pants everytime i got out of the rig cause my calf would rub them when i stepped on the ground. booya.

I took mine off for the same reason. I would get slush and salt over my pants so now I have sport tubes on which are recessed,

Yeah, I get my pants rubbing them all the time. The wife is shorter than I am though, and she loves them, so I have to live with it...

The running boards were a nuisance, but now my daughters can not climb in

ya those sport tubes are kinda cool. i just bought the plastic mold piece from factory...not cheap though...75 bucks for two pieces of plastic. u have to have something after u take off the boards cause the holes show. i tried to convince a lady who had same rig that i wanted to give her free running boards for her moulding pieces...she thought i was insane and quickly drove off......

I am a tall guy and find the factory running boards sometimes tough, but if you live in a snow state it saves the entire side of your truck. I still recommend them. They also make it easier to wash the roof.
