Fellows, it keeps stalling, i replaced the battery, after 1000 miles it stalled again, same scenario
i wasnt using cruise control due to heavy traffic,
after a few min shifting up and down the trany when i needed to stop it stalled,
it seems like it wouldnt downshift
..So 3 things involved with this scenario, FOOT PEDAL SENSOR, TRANY and THROTTLEBODY..
i really thing this is beetwen trany and foot sensor, please give me any advise, should i take to the stealership? to AAMCO?, should i replace the foot pedal sensor?

OZ:

Sorry to hear that you are still having issues. Sounds like your battery though was on its way out. Better to rule that out of the equation as you have.

There was a stalling issue with some of the early Durangos that is remedied with a computer software upgrade.

You say the CE light flashes 10 times then goes out? Thats kind of strange! At 130k, has your trans ever been serviced.

It should have a drain/refill with both sump and return filters replaced every 40-50k.

How about a tune up? If your spark plugs are original at 130k, its a wonder it runs at all!

Thanks for your comments Don, everething its been serviced, sparks are 1 year old, I think i figured out how to reproduce the problem:
*When park i apply a pretty small pressure on the accelator pedal
and the revs start to going down (like 300rpms)and it seems like its trying to prevent it self from satalling and then the revs go up (like 1.5krpm)..

So i think with this i can take it to the dealer now, what do you think it could be?

TPS? Sorry if I asked this earlier, but I can not look at the earlier posts,
FF

To reset the TPS (on the gas pedal) try this:

Turn the engine to 'on' (not run)
Press the accelerator down to the floor slowly and release slowly
Turn the Durango 'off'
Then start the engine.

I have read this is for the diesels, but also works for the Hemi

yes i have done this before and still the same, i have notice also that when park, i can not make it rev to 1.5krpms or something lower than 2krpms, it's like if i depress just a little the pedal it does not respond then i go a little bit more then it wil jump from idle rpms to 2krpms, is this normal or defenetly is a failing APPS?

OZ:

With your latest round of info, it is sounding to me more like the actual pedal sensor.

Hopefully your dealer can verify the issue. Let us know how it goes.

Hi guys, just to let you know that i spend 160 dlls on the dealer just for nothing, they say everithing is ok with my car, (as i expected), just took it to drive test it and after getting dense highway traffic downhill (30 - 40 mph no accel pedal just braking pedal some times but not all the way) tranny begun acting weird and some times shifting hard and some times reving up inecesary............
at this point i don't know what to do, what to inspect, i am really tired of this issue and dont want to spend more money on it....ive had it wit this durango, i am going to let it go and get a newer one, thanks everybody for helping...
