Default power outlet fuse

I just changed the fuse for the front power outlet in the fuse box next to the emergency break, however it still isnt working, but the power outlet in the back of the vehicle is. Does this mean sometime is wrong with the wiring? Someone changed it for me a few weeks ago, and it worked for a day or so, but now its not.

Mine didn't work and it was the fuse. Check the fuse, it's very easy to do. On my 2007, it's a yellow 20a fuse smack in the middle.

I assume you are checking it with the key on or vehicle running correct?

Yes, I finally figured out which fuse it is, and its not that, and yes, I turn the truck on to check it. I'm just wondering if the wiring came loose when someone pulled the gps cord out. I dont even know where to begin to figure that one out.

the trim around the radio/htr controls where the outlet is located simply pulls off. Grasp it firmly and pull. It could be as simple as the plug being undone from the rear of the outlet. It will take less then a minute to check that. Grap the trim, pull towards you and look at the rear of the outlet. Obviously if it has an electrical connector then it is plugged in, if not then it will be laying there close. When I took my trim off I had to unplug the power outlet due to the short length of wire.
