Glad to hear you have it back in your possession, and on the road.

I still think that bill stinks to high heaven of them looking for trouble where there is none, and charging you while they drink coffee and eat lunch.

I would be very wary of those folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

N8ech,
Thanks for the advice and concern. I really don't have any other option....it's either them or some self taught guys. I know there are people here who know there way around a car but the problem is finding them. I am new here so maybe after being here for awhile I can find such people but for now I am stuck with them that's why any help from the experienced members here will be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to update this. I returned from a long road trip...put about 5k km on it. Everything works fine and no signs of the previous issues.

However, I noticed something else =(

On my way to Jeddah, when I turn on the AC, I can hear the blower/fan running. Even after I shut it off for a 30 secs or so. It also heats up the floor board on the passenger side (both front and rear; more so on the front though) and gets wet. After parking I tried to check for leaks and notice leaks from the bottom of the truck in two areas; under the front passenger side and near the muffler at the area that looks like a drainage plug.

I also discovered that the rear heater/ac doesn't work on heat. It just blows cool (not ac) air. Any thoughts on the causes of these issues?

On my return trip, the ac stopped working. It just blew cool air regardless of whether the car was in motion or not. I am hoping it just needs coolant refilled and it's not compressor related. Any thoughts on this as well?

I tried the key dance but couldn't get it to work. I tried on-off 3 times and also 4 times but it doesn't work. Does the 'dance' work for all durangos or are they model/year specific?

Thanks in advance.
