Default Bath Time!

I have the limited durango with of course the hemi. The sun roof moon roof whatever its called it has. I always hand wash my own cars, but i bought it for my mom. And she just wants to run it through a car wash. It should be ok to do that right? Its not going to be bad for it cause of the sun/moon roof? I had a camaro with ttops they said not to go through car wash's through. Has anyone ran theres through a car wash, without any problems? Can't say if there's been any long term damge caused by it yet. I would think its ok to do so, cause its new, but i want to make sure, and that i didn't over look anywhere in the manual it said not too.

I have a 2005 SLT loaded with the sunroof. I've ran it through the car wash plenty of times and never had a problem with it leaking. I would think by now that manufacturers would have fixed this type of defect. So I'd say it should be safe! Happy washing!!

Yeah I have had plenty of cars with sunroofs and ran them through car washes (only in the dead of winter where I did not want to risk getting frostbite on my extremities, lol) and I never had a problem. I did have an 88 IROC and I had the same problem with the T-tops. Eventually I siliconed them shut because I got so tired of getting into a damp car. Chevy's suck.
