My Durango Limited has the optional factory Chrome 17" alloys, but I'm in the mood for a change. Would swap even up for a nice set of standard '04-'08 SLT painted 17" alloys if there's anyone in the Denver area inclined to do so. Finish on mine is nice and none are curbed. Tires at 5/32 are close to needing replacement. Will accept similar weak tires or pay some difference if yours are significantly better so no tires have to be changed. Step up quick before my wife figures out what I'm doing--she likes the bright ones!

 

My 20" ABS plastic chrome clad wheels lasted one winter before I got a set of chrome plated wheels. Tirerack has good prices if you decide to go aftermarket,

Can't speak for the 20"s, but these 17s have several Colorado & Montana winters on 'em and the chrome is fine. Possibly a different OEM manufacturer? (Chrome isn't peeling off my grille, either) Might be the altitude! Thanks for the tip, though!

 

It's the mag chloride that Colorado DOT uses that killed my wheels and chrome plating. It's a well known fact that this junk kills cars. CDOT says to wash your car in order to avoid damage, but when it's 20 degrees outside, I'm not sure how we are supposed to wash our cars.
