Default Bad PCM???

Hi...I need help if possible

I drive a '07 Dodge Durango 4.7L 2wd SLT and have been having problems here recently.

Problems are as followed:

1. Car intermittently downshifts hard when foot is let off the gas.
2. Threw the ESP/BAS light once, resetting itself after 30 min's-never to have come back on.
3. Car idles/surges while running in park from 650-900 rpm's.
4. Car has died twice on me while driving, once last Thurs after turning and once yesterday going about 65 mph throwing the engine light, but always resetting itself after about an hr.

I took it to the dealership last Wed and they could not figure out the problem, since there was no engine light on, they couldn't get any codes, they also test drove and nothing (figures). They told me that either my throttle body is dirty needing to be cleaned or that my PCV needs to be replaced. I was also told, not by the dealership that it could also be my PCM/ECM needing to be replaced.

I was just wondering if anyone has ever had the same problems or if they might possibly know what might be causing this.

Thank you in advance!

I would start with what the dealer recommended and then see it it improves,

Wende:

Could be a bad/dirty TPS or throttle position sensor. It could also be a dirty/failing IAC or Idle Air Control valve.

I would look at the TPS first as it is the least expensive and very likely the cause.
