2004 durango 5.7 hemi with the check engine light flashing!
Hi i have a 2004 durango with a 5.7 liter hemi! the durango is missing very badly and it take me putting my foot on the gas pedal to get it to start! after i get it to start a few minutes later the check engine light comes on and starts to blink! the next day i came back to work on it after i got out of work and my durango started right up so i drove it up to autozone so they could hook up the code scanner but no codes cause the light wasnt on after i went inside to look up parts i came back out to start my durango and it started missing againg badly and the light came back on so when they hooked back up the scanner it came up with a code. the code came back as missfire in cylinder #6 so i went and ordered a coil. i forgot to mention that it was doing it more with mosture out, but when i replaced the coil it still missed as it did before but now all the time! Is there anyone ou there that could hlp me please!

Flashing CE light means one or more cylinders are not firing properly.
How old is your battery? Unless it is fairly new, you should have it load tested to rule out any issues there.
How many miles on your D? Has it ever been tuned up as in new spark plugs?
Beyond all this, a number of 04 and some 05 Hemi owners have experienced valve train issues due to cracked or collapsed valve springs. If caught early on, you can save yourself an engine. If not, the valve eventually falls into the cylinder and the engine is done.
Your condition could also indicate one or more bad plug wires. Obviously, all of these are preferable to the valve train debacle.

What is the build date on the door sticker of your D? The build date of my 04 was January of 2004, and the engine lasted 39,000 miles before dropping a valve into cylinder #3.
You do need to have the battery load tested unless it is fairly new. The issue of having to keep pressure on the gas pedal to keep it running is indicative of a battery problem.
Double check your plug wires to make sure they are fully seated, and wired to the proper cylinders.
Get that battery ruled out, and make the checks I've listed, then get back with us.

Durango Missing Issue
Two weeks ago our 2005 Durango started bucking a kicking. The check engine light came on and started blinking. Had Oreilly's check the light. It came up multiple misfire's in multiple cylinders. Also in the code desciption was both the camshaft position sensor, and the crankshaft position sensor. I replaced both, and so far it's running great. They were $30 each, so $60 got me back on the road. Hope this helps!! This is the first time I've been on this forum, so I'm not sure if you can contact me. I'd be happy to walk you through installing both.
