Default Chilton or Haynes?

Just wondering what repair Maual to get for my 05 4.7 liter durango?
Any suggestions or favorites?

They are actually produced by the same company.

I find the Chilton to be more helpful for certain things, and the Hayes better for others. I have both.

I'd recommend the Haynes first, as that seems to be the better of the two for most things.

Gen 1 here but Ditto and even though they are the same company I keep both.


I think One has better text and one has better photos and the combination of the two work pretty well.

If you are doing anything serious forget both of them and get a factory shop manual.
Hayes is a little better than the chilton but they both suck compared to the shop manual

I have the chilton, and have found it helpful, but have found the mitchell on demand service thats you can subscribe to much more helpful.
