I have a 06 Durango 4.7 SLT. I noticed my battery was dead every morning. I replaced the battery and still had the same problem. After doing some checking I realized my radio and or display was staying on regardless of wether or not the key was in the ignition. I also realized my wipers would continue to work without any key as well and have even gone on randomly while driving. Im thinking it may be the FCM but don't want to pay for the part and it not be the solution...Help Please!!!

 

Go to www.safercar.gov and you 2006 has recalls for electrical system as well as windshield wiper wiring recalls,
