Default Durango 2004 Hemi, clauster gauge problem

Hi
My ´04 Hemi Durango has a problem regarding the interior lights and they just wont go off and i know now that the cause is most likely the cluster gauge. Does any one here know if a used cluster gauge from 2006 Durango will fit my 2004 Durango and fix the problem

I am located in Iceland so there is no dealership that i can contact and the local Dodge garage can fix the problem for 1600$ by sending my cluster gauge to USA and receive refurbished back but i was hoping that i could fix the problem myself with used cluster gauge

Has any one solved similar problem without the help from dealership

We have a 2006 Durango and we are having the same issue. However Dodge is claiming that it was already fixed during the recall and they will not fix it again. So we are left paying over $400 to get it fixed. WTF!!!!

Go to a different Dodge dealership, try there. If same story, call Chrysler corporate and make a fuss.

Ran into the same issue with mine. They had to replace the cluster. Cost me $500+. And no a 2006 will not work. I did the research last year. You can get a used one but the mileage from whatever it came out of will be the mileage on yours. It burns the info into the cluster from the old vehicle. The cluster does have to come from a 2004. At least that's what I found out last year. Believe me if I could have done it my self I would have.
