I purchased my 2005 Durango STL on April 07,2011. The driver side air bag light was on. Dodge dealership fixed it ($300 later). Now not even 2 months later it is back on! Any suggestions?

Do you know what they did to fix it the first time? By chance did they replace the lock spring?

How many miles on your Durango? Do you know its service history?

they replaced the wire ?harness? (maybe the lock spring) under the center of the steering wheel which fixed the air bag light, the horn & the cruise control. I have less than 50,000 miles. I only know the history from carfax.

Sounds like they may have put in a new clockspring. In any case, the repair should have a 12month/12k mile warranty.

I would get back to them ASAP and let them know its not fixed right.
