Default 2005 Durango AC

It blows semi cold air so I thought it was low, I emptied a can of R-134a in it, no effect. During the filling process, it didn't even get cooler inside the cabin.

What could cause that? The compressor seems to be cycling ok.

Dodgy:

Do you have the rear AC, and if so how is that working? Could be a blend door issue inside the heater/AC box under the dash.

When you run the mode selector through its range, does the air switch to the appropriate outlet?

No rear AC

The selectors work when i switch it in the different settings.

I was thinking it might be really low, but 1 can of the blue Ice NASA something R-134a should have at least made the air cooler. It took the whole can.

One thing I haven't checked is if I get some water dripping when I'm idling with the AC full blast.

I think the next step will be to get some gauges on the system to verify the 134a level, and see what the pressure readings are.

Default A/C

The Expansion valve controls flow to both front and rear evaporator cores. I,ve changed quite a few especially on ones with front and rear a/c. In all cases the rear blowing cold and the front blowing warm typically is what i've experienced.
