I have a 2004 Durango with a 5.7 Hemi. When the cruise control is on and going down a small incline the transmission feels like it is jerking. Seems like the transmission is trying to shift between gears. Can any on help.

 

Is the transmission in overdrive? I would try to turn off the overdrive and the speed control and let the transmission stay in a lower gear. How is the fluid level and condition?

 

The fluid is good, I have turned off the overdrive and it does seem to help. I am planing to have the transmission serviced in the next week to see if it helps.
