Default gauge cluster problem

2005 Dodge Durango reads 999,999 kms. I would like to change this! If I replace with a speedo head from a wrecker, will the new reading appear or do I have to change the BCM and if so, do I have to program it after the fact

Welcome to DF
Why do you want to replace the cluster? Because of the mileage?

Default 05 Durango

Yes I'd like to have it register a more humane number but I don't know if you change the head, will it display differently or do I have to change the BCM!

Just a side note, in the States what you are wanting to do is illegal.
