iridium plugs?

Default iridium plugs?

Was to told to use standard copper tip champions from my dealer?
Anyone use anything other on the 06'?

I use iridium on my 5.7, but the 4.7 does not like anything besides cooper from what I have read on this site,

Sorry should of stated I have 4.7
I guess copper it is.

give it time, unless you do 80%+ highway driving they will start to cause misfires, they tend to foul up very quickly in around town driving, iv been there (4.7 is basically the same from 00 to 07)

ND:

The oem copper plug is a good and inexpensive plug. I ran the platinum version of the oem Champion copper plug in my 01 4.7 and had no issues whatsoever.

The only difference was that the oem coppers were visibly worn at 30K while the platinum plugs (RC12PYP I think) were like new after 50K.

Gonna go w/the oem copper champs again, change should be done around every 50k correct?
