2004 Dodge Durango Rear Door Locked
I have a 2000 Dodge Durango. The right rear door started to buzz when the doors automatically locked so I took the latch off, cleaned things up and greased everything good. When I put the latch back together I must have not engaged the lock mechanism correctly and when I closed the door it thinks it is locked and so I cannot open the door. I have the inside panel off and cannot see any kind of emergency release. Is there a way to get the door open without physically prying the door open?

dnorman,
Simply try to open the latch with the exterior handle and then again with the interior handle. I assume you did reconnect the handle and just forgot to reconnect the locking bar. Also, it could simply be the child locks are engaged now.
The buzz you hear is a failing lock mechanism. It will need replaced. Replacement time is under an hour if you follow my entire how-to DIY instructions here:

My was a 2000 rear door as well so it should be 100% identical. My replacement time was 15 minutes.
Good luck!
