05 Durango w/ 5.7 Hemi -- warm engine starting issues
This problem began about 9 months ago and has progressively gotten a bit worse. Initially, the engine started just fine when cold. Once the engine reached normal operating temps and I shut it off for any reason, I sometimes had to lightly press on the gas pedal to get it to start. Now it will start (barely) when the engine is cold w/o pressing on the pedal, but it is a must to give it some throttle when starting the engine warm. It won't even stumble w/o some pedal. There are no engine service lights on and the engine runs great once it's fired up.
Any ideas?
Any ideas?
But I'm not sure why just a bit of throttle would counteract the crankcase position sensor. I've been wondering if it could be a throttle position sensor, since every once and a while when I'm in town and I back off the throttle, coast, and then get back on the throttle......it will sometimes slightly hesitate.
