Mine is the opposite of that. It starts just fine when it is cold but the problems start when it is warm

Has anyone found the solution to this after all this time?

We haven't been driving the durango much but are still dealing with this. I talked to another mechanic and they suggested seafoam. The thinking is that maybe someting was lodged in the old fuel pump but was moved along through the system and is clogging an injector. I am not sure but its an inexpensive thing to try and if it doesn't work then I will check the schrader valve and see if I have pressure.

Still looking for a resolution to this if anyone can help.

Yesterday it did something new. There was a quarter tank of gas but it would not start at all. This happened in the morning and normally cold starts are not a problem.

Well, big dirty D has taken things to another level. My wife went to run errands yesterday and the battery was dead. I went out to start it and let it warm up and it started even though it was a little grumpy. Came back outside and it wasn't running anymore and the battery was now dead. I have since replaced the battery but now it will only just sit and crank but not start. This is starting to annoy me. Anyone have any ideas what is going on with this?

FIXED!!

The non-starting issue was the result of a bad fuel pump and the hard start issue was due to two leaking fuel injectors on the drivers side bank.

I agree with fascistfaction, it's nice to see a follow up, how the problem was fixed. So many times people just post a question and then never mention how the problem was solved.
