Default Grounding Throttle Body

Today a guy I work with handed me a fat cable and told me to ground out my throttle body to the negative on the battery. He owns a Durango and did this and said the throttle response improved significantly. I guess the Ram guys have been doing this for a while. Anyone tried it? If I get time to do it I will post my findings. Google search it for more info.

Thats a new one on me. Should be zero reason why that is necessary. Snakeoil IMHO.

Why would this improve performance? And, if it did, why wouldn't Mopar do this from the factory?

There seems to be alot of people posting about it. I think it may be a placebo effect, but what could it hurt to try it?

I am going to try it. It does not increase HP/Torque. It is supposed to improve throttle response.
