I have already removed the muffler(behind rear axle) and am planning on removing the resonator as well. Will this cause any damage to the vehicle if I drive it regularly til I get a catback system?? Its a 2004 5.7 AWD Durango limited

 

Damage to engine? No. Fumes building up inside? Maybe. The exhaust is desinged to take those fumes and let them go in a safe area (behind your truck).

It will also be really loud...

 

It will only hurt your ears and your wallet if you pass a police officer.

The police thing isn't a concern the diesels that run around here are pretty obnoxious. Thanks for the help. Any suggestions as to cat back systems for best performance??
