Push the button down??? That is what I do.
Thats obvious however when I tried it doesn't go down not that it doesn't work but it's not an option

When I had a problem with the seat in my intrepid I used a Jumper wire to adjust my seat. Find the main power wire and insert one end of the jumper wire into the plug where the wires go in than poke the other end into the other wires to move your seat. This will only work if the switch is broke and not the motor. It sounds like the motor works since you were able to raise your seat. Hope this helps.

I can't figure it out I mean it want up but not down! Very frustrating, I even downloaded the owners manual on my I book needless to say I got the auto lock when in gear to be enabled again! Lol any other ideas please let me know! Thanks to you all for your suggestions!!!!!
Mom2:
Try running it back and forth a number of times, and then run the front up and down. Then, run the back up and down.
Could be that it is a bit frozen up due to non use, or you could have a motor or switch issue.
