Does your seat control look like a drawing of a seat. A rectangular button on the bottom and a rectangular button upright for the back of the seat like this _ l

Mine does not really go up. The center section tilts up or down when you press the tip of the longitudinal bar button, but the seat frame does not move.

Default Jumper wire

When I had a problem with the seat in my intrepid I used a Jumper wire to adjust my seat. Find the main power wire and insert one end of the jumper wire into the plug where the wires go in than poke the other end into the other wires to move your seat. This will only work if the switch is broke and not the motor. It sounds like the motor works since you were able to raise your seat. Hope this helps.

Mom2:

Try running it back and forth a number of times, and then run the front up and down. Then, run the back up and down.

Could be that it is a bit frozen up due to non use, or you could have a motor or switch issue.
