Just wondering if anyone knows if 04 durangos came with an engine oil cooler? If not, would using an aftermarket one help the longevity of this engine, especially since the 04's are having real issues with blown rods. Wondering if decreased heat will help prolong my durango..still makin payments and don't want a dead durango in my driveway.

 

www.rockauto.com has one for your 2004 by Doorman(part #918229) and it would help with the longevity of your engine. You can also get a low-temp thermostat.
