Thank God you found those fuses!!!! I assume they were fuse 19 & 21 I asked about. The whole thing was starting to cause me nightmares. So long as you found it yo are good to go for your trip. At least you know will know what to do if the lights get flaky in the future (-;

Afraid I'm of no help on the head unit. Those things baffle me most of the time.

Glad you got it going, Carol. Good work

Jack

Default trailer lights

It wasn't 19 & 21 but you had the right idea which got me looking. Fuses that controlled power to the relays. Freaking out thinking I would have to replace the module. Ebay-$119. It was in the line of unmarked 20amps. Just went thru & tested them all. Chilton manual didn't help at all. Would be nice if dodge marked them a little better. It is so hot out to be fussing with wires.

Thanks so much. You have been the only one who hasn't ignored me.

Glad to help, Carol. When you get back from your trip you may want to get Adobe Reader and download the service manual from the link I sent. It can come in very handy.

Have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend, Carol.

And everyone - please remember what Memorial Day is all about. Take a minute to pause and thank those that gave their all.

Thumbs up trailer lights

Oh I was doing a lot of that. (thanking god). About to give up several times. I do have adobe. copy and paste worked. your 08 is similar to my 04 but went ahead on the dodge.com and got the 04. Its like the book that came with the truck when I got it.

You have a Happy Memorial Day also. I am going to go after the holiday. Traffic is horrible.

You wouldn't happen to know how fast I can drive a loaded single axle landscape trailer w/ a 2900lb. weight limit w/a 5.7 hemi 4x4.

There are two types of manuals there. One owners and the other is the service manual. Don't try to print the service manual unless you are a professional printer (-;

For some obscure reason I thought you had an '08 also. Sorry about that.

I'd be comfortable driving the interstate speed limit with that load, Carol. Just make sure to balance the load properly.

Have fun!
