Default Brake Light Problems

Lets see so first the brake light on the passenger side was dead so i replaced it with 3057 and it worked, (note driver side worked at this time). so after i replace the passenger side both worked. get home and now the driver side doesnt work replaced it with 3057 and still doesnt work but passenger side is.

How many sockets are there in the lamp assy? Could you have it in the wrong socket? It does happen.

what do u mean,

i took the bulb out of the one that wasnt working put the new one in the same spot,

I have seen where a bulb is out in one socket and then walk away and replaced the wrong bulb, yes this has happen to me. Also just be sure, get a 12v test light and check the socket for power and ground.
