Default 2005 Durango 5.7L Idling, quitting under load

Hey guys I am new to Dodges since this is the first one I have owned. I have a 2005 Durango 5.7L that I bought for a really good deal. It has 181,xxx miles but was a one owner before I got it and it has been serviced and treated well. Here is the issue though...I left a light on inside one night then come out the next morning to find the battery completely dead. I jump started it but I had to let it set on jumper cables charging for about 5 minuted before it had the juice to turn over. It drove fine all day that day. Well the next day after that which would be 2 days after the jump start I started having idling issues. It would idle rough when I would stop at in gear or in park then it would die most of the time after about 5-10 seconds of that. Sometimes if it started idling rough I would pump the fuel about 10 times and it would stay running. Now when it dies I have to usually let it set for about 2-3 minutes before it will start back up again and thats while giving it fuel.

Here is what I have noticed...the idling and quitting issue has gotten worse in about a weeks time since jump starting it. Now it only has the idling and dieing issue when you have a power load on the vehicle such as the radio up loud, headlights on, or the main power killer which would be the a/c turned on. I'm think it's the battery. I'm going to get and get the battery and alternator tested today. The check engine light came on today when it went to die today saying bank 1 and bank 2 o2 sensor lean. I think it is electrical because before I killed the battery she ran like a top. What do you all think? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have the battery load tested. My 2007 will cut the circuit of you leave a light on and I assume that your 2005 should have done the same.

+2 on getting your battery tested ASAP! The issues you describe are all symptoms of a failing battery.

Taking an aged battery all the way to zero like that sometimes will hasten its demise.

Especially if you are on the oem unit, it is overdue for replacement.

Don't forget known regular maintenance such as cooling system, trans, transfer case, and front/rear differentials.

Spark plugs are speced at 30K intervals, but you can go 40 or 50 unless you idle a lot.
The current set in my 04 SLT Hemi are at ~38K and doing fine.
