Just done my annual air con recharge, seems to last just under 12 months.

Think i know where it's leaking from, the high pressure discharge line.
Is this a common problem?
I have priced a new one, don't really want to sell the house to get one, so might try to repair it. found a guy who says he can weld new crimps, on existing
ends. My only concern is this will make the Ali next to the new weld very brittle, might see about compression fittings instead.

Any suggestions?

 

Have the shop do a dye test to find the leak.

done that, almost 99% positive the discharge pipe is the culprit
