Coil Boot - Plug Boot 4.7L
I am replacing the plugs on my wife's 2008 4.7l flex fuel Dodge Durango. The plug boots or coil boots are melted to the plugs. I have ruined 2 of them and need to get some replacements. Does anyone know where to get replacement plug boots for the 4.7l?? Seems everywhere I look there are only available for the 5.7l.
Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks!

I am heading to the dealer after work to see if they have any. My fear is they will be expensive or I will have to buy the whole COP assembly. I don't think the dealer sells a replacement boot for the 4.7L.
Orielly auto parts has replacement boots but they are $18 ea. Pretty spendy!! I was hoping for a more cost efffective option.
Thre are boot kits on eBay for $35 for the 5.7L I just can't find a kit for the 4.7L

Dodge doesn't serevice the plug boot for the 2008 and up 4.7L. You have to buy the complete COP. Kind of a joke
I found some at Oreilly's for $17.99 ea. They would have to order them in.
Napa had them for $10.49 ea. So I ended up getting some from them.

I have a 2007 4.7flex and was thinking changing my spark plugs. Which plugs should I go with for long life and normal operation? Also which COP should I go with. The old ones still work just thinking ahead.
Also what's the plug gap on plugs.
