Hi, I have a 2005 durango with approx 135,000 miles on it. The engine was replaced right after I bought it with about 33.000 miles, dealership stated it looked like the oil had never been changed. I have had the oil changed as scheduled since they put the new engine in. Now after it warms up the oil light will blink at about 1500-1000 rpms and will stay on at 1000 rpm's to a stop. Above 1500 rpms the light goes off and stays off until I slow down again. I had the oil pressure sensor replaced and I did not have any trouble for about 2 weeks and now it is doing the same oil light thing again. Near the end of a 3-4 hour road trip one day it stopped doing it after about 2.5 hours into the trip but the next morning it was back to doing the oil light thing again. Any suggestions on what to try next or what to look for? Thanks much!
