Windshield Washer Fluid Level Sensor
So, I'm constantly getting a low washer fluid warning in my 2004 Durango. The level of the fluid itself is not actually low, and the dealership said it'd be $85 to replace the sensor (I was having other work done at the time).
I see the part itself is about $25 (including shipping), and looking at the maintenance manual page on installation and removal of it (courtesy of my local library), it seems like it's not a big deal to do it yourself. Has anyone else done this themselves? Any "gotchas" for the process?
Also, if I simply disconnect it, will the warning light stay off until the sensor is replaced?
Thanks!
Will
