2006 Durango-How do I take the socket out for the rear lights? I've disconnected the trailer light connecter, I've swapped the bulbs, I've swapped the LH and RH fixtures and I still have no brake light. Before I buy a new strip with sockets, I want to swap out sockets but I can't figure out how to take them out.

 

It could also be the brake light switch that has gone bad.

Have you checked the fuse for the tail lights?
