Default Tow/Haul buttom behavior

Sorry guys that I insist on this but I just want to make sure the this little buttom is working properly.

Q: Am I right if I compare the functionality of this buttom with the O/D buttom (OverDrive) found on many other automatic cars. I read on the manual that once you depress the Tow/Haul the transmission is supposed to avoid shifting to the 5th gear. Is that correct?

Thanks,

yep, and it will also spread the other four gears over a wider rpm range for more power when towing or climbing grades.
