Default 05 Durango limited

I have a 2005 Durango Limited V8 Hemi, 4WD WITH traction control. My wife wrecked it, ran up on a curb then across a median, destroyed the passenger side wheels and tires, cracked the right rear axle, and bent the stabilizer bar. My question is this what would happen if the passenger rear axle was replaced with an axle WITHOUT traction control?

Chris:
While you probably could put a non TC axle in there, the system would likely set a trouble code and light.
I am not that familar with the TC on the D as neither my 01 or my current 04 have it.

Is it the whole housing, or just the shaft on the one side that is damaged?
