Timing problem
I recently changed the oil pump on my 4.7l in my 2004 Durango. I set the timing chains, marks etc. correctly ( I thought). The engine starts and idles fine and runs, but at about 2200-2500 RPM the engine makes a loud thump. The RPM drops down and then continues to increase and shift and come up to normal speed. Does anyone know what my engine problem may be?
