Engine light troubles

Engine light troubles
Hello
Brand new to site. I have a 2005 Dodge Durango Hemi 5.7L
Couple days ago, started it up and pulled out of parking spot and the engine just shut off. I tried to re-start and it turned over fine but wouldn't start. Waited about 2 minutes and tried again, started right up, but engine light came on.
Took it to auto store to have code ran and the only one that came up was a crankshaft position sensor. I'm not a mechanic but I figured for 20 bucks I'd give it a shot.
Got the old one out and the new one in and now when I try to start it, it cranks fine but it takes about 8 to 10 secs to start...and the engine light blinks for about 5 secs and then goes solid again.
any thoughts?
